Ripoffs.

Public Enemies was  a suspenseful, deep, and action packed movie. Johnny Depp had his usual sexiness and I recommend the film. From what I hear, My Sister's Keeper was a tearfest, and most people enjoyed it. Our first thoughts in our mind is: wow, they sure made a good movie. But then we realize that movies today get worse and worse. For those who didn't know, Public Enemies is a remake of an old James Cagney film. My Sister's Keeper is, as we all know, based on the novel by Jodi Picoult. Aren't there people who are paid to write movies? Did those "creative thinkers" just disappear and decided to be as unoriginal as possible? Enough with the remakes, I don't care how good they are. The fact is, their movies don't help entertainment in any way. We have made progress in the technological and directing sector, so why can't we improve on the screenplay aspect?

  1. amen. but the real question is, what today is original? honestly it seems like every kind of movie follows some basic guidelines which makes almost every movie predictable. for example in romantic comedies, in the beginning things are a little bad, then something good happens like the guy meets a girl, then the main character or something fucks up badly and then in the end they get back together. i just summarized hitch, 50 first dates, along came polly, there's something bout marry and so on. when will people start making some creative plotlines!!!! 99 times out of 100 i can guess whats going to happen next. we need more adventurous people like sasha baron cohen and the guy who made pineapple express and superbad! fuck transformers, that crap is old, the only new part bout it is now there trucks and they got meagan fox, WOW what a difference!

make up your own damn ideas you money hungry dumb pieces of crap and surprise me for once!
