Deadland.
The question asked daily: what do you want to do tonight? The reply often goes like this: I don't know, maybe dinner or a movie. The ideas have run out for everyone, or maybe just for me. If it's not dinner then it's a movie in theaters, and if not in theaters then by someone's house. We've all formed a routine of nothingness at nights. If only we can think like the movies, where they get involved in a bar fight, get robbed by a prostitute, and skinny dip with a complete stranger. But it's not like that, so that leaves the last popular option, drinking/party. That is obviously the best option of the three, but it still leaves us with only three options. Partying is fun on occasions, but, like dinner and movies, we just get tired of it (plus it doesn't happen every night). Nights are too typical.

First, I love the blog. Keep it up, please!
ReplyDeleteAlso, my favorite activity is driving somewhere, getting lost, and having an incredibly deep conversation along the way. Never gets old.
for me it's not what i'm doing it's who i'm with. me and my friends have some classic times doing absolutely nothing, and just talking for hours. of course its not as great as "being robbed by a prostitute" but it can still be mad fun. as for skinny dipping, i was always more of a streaking kinda guy, maybe i'd end up jumping into a pool or something though
